A very proud Mum...!

The mother of Jacob Lawes’ (12) was clearly a very proud Mum when she watched her son being awarded with his certificate for winning the inaugural junior category of this year’s Open Public Competition organised by Norwich & District Photographic Society with his photograph Sheringham Steam Train by David Noton during the interval of his Chasing the Light Road Show.

Also present to collect her certificate for being a runner-up in the junior competition was Eden Willimott (13).  Unfortunately, Elizabeth Rose Wotton (11) who was also a runner-up in the junior competition was unable to be present but we shall get her certificate to her as soon as possible.

David Noton also presented certificates to the three-joint winners of this year’s Open Public Competition Diana Knight, Richard Potter and Ian Saunders whose winning images are on display at the Society’s 103rd Annual Exhibition at Norwich Cathedral until 25th September.

The photograph below shows the winners proudly displaying their certificates. From left to right in the photograph are Ian Saunders, Diana Kiight, Jacon Lawes, David Noton, Eden Willimott and Richard Potter
