Chasing the Light Roadshow 2019 is no ordinary talk on photography. The audience will join David Noton on a journey around the world. Sharing in his experiences behind the lens in a diverse range of situations and environments, he will take the audience on a two-hour trip of a lifetime. The show combines his stunning high definition pictures, with satellite imagery, music, video clips, anecdotes and humour that cover his 30 years of globetrotting photography.
Even if you have been fortunate to see a previous Road Show the 2019 show is full of new photographs from recent shoots and trips around the world, many of which have not been shown before. BBC Wildlife magazine said David’s images were “a collection of jaw-dropping beautiful views of some of the most spectacular places on earth”.
This is also a unique chance to pick the brain of the country's leading photographer. After the show the audience will be able to meet David Noton, Canon Ambassador and Fellow of the Royal Photographic Society, ask him questions and purchase his books, DVDs as well as sign up for membership to the David Noton f11 Club.

About the Thomas Paine Lecture Theatre
Norwich & District Photographic Society are grateful to the University of East Anglia for allowing us to host the Chasing the Light Road Show at the recently opened Thomas Paine Lecture Theatre. Equipped with a cinema quality screen and excellent sound projection the 360-tiered seats of the theatre are housed in the Thomas Paine Study Centre on the University’s campus.
The campus is located outside Norwich city-centre making it easy to get to for those travelling by car. It also has ample car parking space available adjacent to the theatre.

David Noton comments: “Every picture tells a story, and behind every picture there’s a story. The Chasing the Light Road Shows will take the audience on a global adventure, using the latest high definition projection and satellite navigation to whisk them around the world. Of course, we’ll be talking photography and travel, but the Chasing the Light Road Shows will be much more than that”.
