A Pictorialist Group Shoot at Corpusty Mill Garden that one of our club helps to maintain and has often posted stunning images from.
On Saturday 8th June at 11:00 we will gather outside the entrance to this stunning architectural garden. You can find more details on their website here
We will pause at 12:30 and have some lunch at the Dukes Head pub in the village.
There is also some limited car parking around the village green, so car shares would help with the parking, as well as being good for the environment!
The owner is not making a formal charge for entry but has asked that each visitor donate £5.00 to his local charity.
Corpusty is 11 miles NW of Norwich, 6 miles south of Holt on the B1149.
Leave the small Corpusty by-pass and drive into the village.
The mill is in the centre, straddling the River Bure which here forms the Corpusty/Saxthorpe boundary
There is an NDPS charge to attend the shoot of £1.00 payable to the event leader on the day
Please note:
Don’t forget to check the arrangements before setting out if there has been extreme weather overnight.
About the Pictorialist Group
The group embraces a wide range of experimental and craft based techniques including paper making, wet photographic processes, infra-red; x-ray; vintage equipment and lenses, alternative lenses, and alternatives to lenses, such as pinholes or even alternatives to conventional cameras!
All in the interests of creating something beautiful, interesting or both.
Please remember, our group can only be as good as the input made by its members so if you are willing to organise or lead any kind of event that you think will be of interest to members, please step forward. Please don’t be shy – all offers of help will be greatly appreciated…!
