Welcome to the Norwich and District Photographic Society. Photography can sometimes be a solitary pursuit, but our club proves that it doesn’t have to be like that.
Please take a look around our website. There is a lot to see. Whether you're seeking educational presentations, niche interest groups, or opportunities for friendly competition, you'll find it all here. There is something to suit photographers of every skill level.
As well as weekly meetings with competitions, professional guest speakers and talks by fellow members, our society organises workshops, exhibitions, and photography trips to various locations in and around Norfolk and beyond. These events provide members with the opportunity to learn new skills, share knowledge, and explore different aspects of photography in a friendly and supportive environment.
If you are interested in joining our society, we encourage you to attend one of our meetings as a guest to see if it’s the right fit for you. Membership is open to all levels of photographers, from absolute beginners to professionals. Our annual membership fee is affordable. We are located at The City Academy on Bluebell Road in Norwich, where our weekly meetings on a Tuesday evening are held from September through to June.
We look forward to welcoming you to our society and helping you grow as a photographer. If you have any questions or would like more information, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
Happy shooting!
