  • Norwich & District Photographic Society East Ruston Old Vicarage Norfolk, England, NR12 9HN United Kingdom (map)

East Ruston Old Vicarage Gardens

On Saturday 9th April at noon we will gather in the car park at the entrance to East Ruston Old Vicarage Gardens. We plan to spend the morning exploring the gardens and its architecture followed by afternoon tea in the cafe..

The garden spans 32 acres and contains a variety of garden rooms to discover and explore, including: herbaceous borders; gravel gardens; sub-tropical gardens; a box parterre; a sunken rose garden; a mediterranean garden; a desert Wash and a large woodland garden.

Look out for Dave and Joan when you arrive as they will be running this event.

Please note:
Don’t forget to check the arrangements before setting out if there has been extreme weather overnight.

About the Pictorialist Group

The group embraces a wide range of experimental and craft based techniques including paper making, wet photographic processes, infra-red; x-ray; vintage equipment and lenses, alternative lenses, and alternatives to lenses, such as pinholes or even alternatives to conventional cameras!

All in the interests of creating something beautiful, interesting or both.

Please remember, our group can only be as good as the input made by its members so if you are willing to organise or lead any kind of event that you think will be of interest to members, please step forward. Please don’t be shy – all offers of help will be greatly appreciated…!
