A Pictorialist Group Shoot at Gooderstone Water Gardens

On Saturday 22nd April at 11:00 am we will gather in the car park at the entrance to Gooderstone Water Gardens.

Gooderstone Water Gardens is 6 acres in size with 13 bridges spanning waterways, ponds and stream. The time of year makes it good for infrared shots and the structure will probably be good for multiple exposures, as well as opportunities for creative lenses and more traditional photography.

We'll explore the gardens and meet to swap notes and take a break at the tearoom at 12:30pm.

Entry to the gardens is £8.00 or £7.50 for senior citizens. You can find the website, which contains more details here.

Please remember to bring along £1 for club insurance.

Please note:
Don’t forget to check the arrangements before setting out if there has been extreme weather overnight.

About the Pictorialist Group

The group embraces a wide range of experimental and craft based techniques including paper making, wet photographic processes, infra-red; x-ray; vintage equipment and lenses, alternative lenses, and alternatives to lenses, such as pinholes or even alternatives to conventional cameras!

All in the interests of creating something beautiful, interesting or both.

Please remember, our group can only be as good as the input made by its members so if you are willing to organise or lead any kind of event that you think will be of interest to members, please step forward. Please don’t be shy – all offers of help will be greatly appreciated…!
