Member's Presentation - Light Sensitive & Landscape Of Towers by Clive Dunn

  • Norwich & District Photographic Society The Interactive Studio, City Academy Norwich 299 Bluebell Road, Norwich NR4 7LP United Kingdom (map)

This evening, one of our own members will tell us about his new project “Light Sensitive” that explores evocative photo fiction.

This will be followed by a film he made for The Royal Geographical Society based on his book “Landscape of Towers” - the explorer’s guide to the lost churches and religious ruins of Norfolk.

About Clive Dunn

Clive Dunn’s initial career was as a land surveyor. He then worked for the Ordnance Survey as a cartographic draughtsman, followed by a period spent working in photographic darkrooms. Dunn moved into television production with the BBC Film Department and subsequently with Anglia Television for over 10 years before becoming an independent producer/director, making award-winning biographical features, historical and wildlife films, which have taken him across the world over the last 40 years.

Clive has now returned to his first love of still photography, frequently exhibiting his work. He engages in various genres but his overriding style is firmly rooted in pictorialism.
