A Pictorialist Group Shoot in Great Yarmouth in Winter

On Saturday 14th January at 1:00 pm we will gather at the entrance to Britannia Pier in Great Yarmouth for the second "Bleak Midwinter" pictorialist shoot.

Try to capture the essence of a seaside town in winter, maybe a sequence of images, even uplifting ones!

At 4:00pm we will meet back at the pier entrance to compare notes and see if the ice cream sellers are still braving the bleak midwinter!.

Please remember to bring along £1 for club insurance.

Don’t forget to check the arrangements before setting out if there has been extreme weather overnight.

About the Pictorialist Group

The group embraces a wide range of experimental and craft based techniques including paper making, wet photographic processes, infra-red; x-ray; vintage equipment and lenses, alternative lenses, and alternatives to lenses, such as pinholes or even alternatives to conventional cameras! 

All in the interests of creating something beautiful, interesting or both.
