Exclusive NDPS Members' street photography workshop

  • Norwich & District Photographic Society The Forum, Millennium Plain. Norwich, NR2 1TF United Kingdom (map)

Following his very successful presetation on opening night of this Season we have organised an exclusive strret photography workshop here in Norwich for TEN (10) NDPS members

This isn't a 'photo walk' but a day of proper learning. It will start at 10:00am with a coffee and a chat, and finish at 4:00pm with a debrief and chat about what was learnt. The cost £9 each payable by 10th December.

Meeting up details will be sent out in the week before the workshop.

This is a practical hands-on day of learning how to improve your street photography through seeing in new ways. Damien demonstrates a range of principles around using light, finding backgrounds and working in public areas, and then helps the group to find their own way at their own pace. It's a day suitable for all levels of experience, and is certain to change the way you see and shoot - no matter what subjects you are usually interested in.

Cameras and lenses will be provided, so you only need to bring your imagination

Damien did a similar workshop with Aperture Photography Group in Northampton a few weeks ago, and here are some of their comments:

*         I’m still buzzing, Damien Demolder’s talk was great, followed by a day on the streets of Northampton with our cameras. What a fab 2 days of photography. Thanks, Graham, for organising things with Damien😁

*         Terrific day out. Added to my knowledge. I liked Damien's emphasis on natural lighting techniques. And he was immensely entertaining. Everyone was on great form - as always Robert Davey.

*         Absolutely, enjoyed every moment today with you all. Damien was so enthusiastic with the possibilities that Street Photography has to offer everyone. Thank you also Graham for organizing last night a cracking night... see you all soon. Anne Marie
