The first members’ evening of the Autumn Season will be in three parts:
What have NDPS members been up to during the Summer months - Our President Graeme Taplin has recorded over a number of weeks NDPS events to which he has added photographs submitted by our members. At the start of the meeting we will watch the resulting video that Graeme has created.
After that our Chairman Tom Watson will tke us all through the responses to the recent Membership survey. Even if you did not respond this is an impotant opportunity to contribute to the future activities and sucess of NDPS. The discussion will no doubt continue through and beyond our normal break.
During the break easels will be out on the tables at the back of the hall as suggested by Clive Matthews. This was set out in an email to all members last week.

At the heart of Norwich & District Photographic Society are the activities that engage the membership and provide opportunities to feed their passion for photography. Whether learning a new technique, taking a photograph for a photographic competition or assignment, attending a photo-shoot and sharing their knowledge with other members, the Society provides a framework for members to be involved in all aspects of photography on a regular basis.

Norwich & District Photographic Society is ambitious, vibrant, and friendly. Our members freely share their ideas, images, knowledge, and experience both at our weekly meetings and during the other activities that comprise our annual programme. No matter what their level of photographic ability or experience everyone is welcome to join us. We have members of all ages who work in all kinds of industries and professions whose photographic skills range from complete beginners who are starting out on their photographic journey through to seasoned experienced photographers . Where to find us
NDPS meets throughout the year. Normally, from the start of September and finishing during the following June, we hold indoor meetings every Tuesday evening commencing at 7:30pm. During the summer months we meet informally outdoors for photo-shoots and other events.
The Society’s home is the modern and fully equipped Interactive Studio at the City Academy, 299 Bluebell Road, Norwich, NR4 7LP. City Academy Norwich located near the University of East Anglia is a modern building that benefits from state-of-the-art facilities including excellent wi-fi, sound and image-projection systems. There is also ample free-car parking available on site and in addition can it be easily reached using public transport.
