Members' Evening - Summer Programme

  • Norwich & District Photographic Society St Helens Wharf 17 Bishopgate Norwich NR3 1RZ United Kingdom (map)

OUTDOOR SUMMER PROGRAMME EVENT

Tonight’s summer event is the last of the 2021 Summer and is a opportunity to capture some unique atmospheric shoots at Rosary Cemetery either in colour, monochrome or even for those you have the required filters or modified cameras in infra-red. Opened in 1821 Rosary Cemetery was the first non-denominational burial ground in the United Kingdom.

This is another relaxed evening taken at your own individual pace this walk provides an opportunity to capture some great images or if you prefer the chance to meet up with other members of the Society who may be you have not seen for a long time in a friendly environment. This is also an ideal opportunity for newer members to come along and start getting to know everyone.

In addition, if any beginners would like some help getting to know their way around their cameras and improve their photographic skills let us know by email to ndps.infocus@gmail.com and we shall pair them up with an experienced member for some 1-2-1 assistance.

We shall commence the shoot at 6:00pm sharp and finish around 8:00pm when the cemetery normally closes so those who wish to can enjoy a drink together in a nearby pub before heading home.

Car Park details - there is limited off street parking adjacent to Rosary Cemetery but within a 10 minute walk there are pay and display car parks nearer to the City Centre.

Outdoor summer programme events are an opportunity for members to share their photographic ideas, images, knowledge, and experience in a friendly and supportive environment. The exact details of the evening are normally published a week in advance when there is more certainty about the weather.
