  • Norwich & District Photographic Society Norwich UK (Zoom meeting) (map)

ZOOM MEETING

Join us when Jane Goodall makes a long awaited return to NDPS.  It is rare that you get an inspirational speaker who shows such beautiful images who is also willing to share so much information about how to take them, how to plan, what to think about when composing and even how to process them.

Jane Goodall will be presenting her ‘Beautiful Light’ lecture. Come along to find out about

  • her favourite destinations and how she works the light and location for maximum effect.

  • essential kit for a landscape photographer, some of which might surprise you.

  • see how she uses the latest ‘online’ applications to optimise her choice of landscape locations.

  • how she considers the critical differences in the camera’s light capturing process and her own perception that requires sensitive post processing techniques to enhance the atmosphere and impact of the image.

  • what ‘not to do’ and other tips to avoid some landscape photography slipups

Non-members of the Society are able to attend this presentation by purchasing a Guest ticket which are available only through our booking agent Eventbrite UK using the link below.

About Jane Goodall

Jane Goodall is a lecturer at the University of Cambridge and also a photographer and a judge for the East Anglian Federation of photographers. Much of her earlier work is inspired by the natural landscape, showing the fleeting moments of changing light and the seascapes and tidal lands of the British coastline. Her recent work focuses on local scenes, from the majestic views of geese on Kings College lawn in the mist, to rusting old diesel pumps hiding amongst the nettles in the fenland, and the local fauna and woodlands.
Jane travels throughout the East Anglia region and beyond, to visit photographic societies and judge their work and give talks on her photography.

VIRTUAL PRESENTATIONS
Virtual presentations will continue to take place each Tuesday evening until the lockdown restrictions imposed by the UK government due to the Covid-19 pandemic are lifted and we can all meet again in the Methodist Hall. Chapel Field Road, Norwich, NR2 1DS.
