Tom has arranged for club members to visit the RAF Air Defence Radar Museum at Horning.
The Museum is an award winning, volunteer run, visitor attraction which offers an enjoyable and informative day out. Housed in the original Grade II listed 1942 radar operations building, the Museum provides a unique window into the history of radar covering the period from WWII to the Cold War.
The cost is £12.00 per person if you are under 60, or £10.00 per person if you are over 60. Student entry is £6.00 which will be paid to the Museum on the day. This gives access to 25 exhibition rooms containing over 10,000 items as well as cockpits from Victor, Jaguar and Tornado planes
Afterwards, why not have a snack or beverage in the Crumb’s Cafe, depending on staffing levels they may also be serving lunch.
About Tom’s Tours
